Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the WorkMates platform ("Service"), operated by FlareTech, CVR 46309162, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
WorkMates is a cloud-based field service management platform available as a web application and mobile applications for iOS and Android. The Service includes features such as assignment management, time tracking, customer management, planning and scheduling, offers and invoicing, material tracking, absence management, and accounting integrations.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Each organization account is managed by one or more administrators who can invite team members, assign roles, and manage permissions.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
The Service is offered through various subscription plans with different features and pricing. Current plan details and pricing are available at workmates-app.dk/pricing.
Subscriptions are billed monthly. Payment is processed through Stripe. Alternative payment arrangements (e.g., invoicing) may be available upon request by contacting support@workmates-app.dk.
All prices are listed in Danish Kroner (DKK) and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. FlareTech reserves the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice.
5. Free Trials
Certain subscription plans may include a 30-day free trial period. During the trial, you have access to the plan's full features at no charge.
At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. You will not be charged during the trial period.
6. Cancellation and Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Service or by contacting support@workmates-app.dk. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the Service until the end of the period you have already paid for.
FlareTech may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you:
- Fail to pay subscription fees when due
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Engage in illegal activity using the Service
- Abuse the Service or other users
Where possible, we will provide notice before suspension or termination, except in cases requiring immediate action.
7. Refund Policy
All payments are non-refundable. When you cancel your subscription, you will not receive a refund for the remaining portion of your current billing period. Free trials are provided so you can evaluate the Service before committing to a paid subscription.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Resell, sublicense, or share your account access with unauthorized parties
- Use automated tools to scrape, mine, or extract data from the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, features, documentation, and branding, is the property of FlareTech and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service.
"WorkMates" and associated logos are trademarks of FlareTech. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.
10. User Content and Data Ownership
You retain ownership of all content and data you enter into the Service ("User Content"), including assignments, time entries, customer records, offers, invoices, and other business data.
By using the Service, you grant FlareTech a limited license to host, store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
FlareTech may use anonymized and aggregated data derived from usage of the Service for analytics, product development, and improvement purposes. Such data will not identify you or your organization.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at workmates-app.dk/privacy. The Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FlareTech's total liability to you for any claims arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the total amount of fees paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
FlareTech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, regardless of whether such damages were foreseeable.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
FlareTech does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected.
14. Service Availability
FlareTech uses commercially reasonable efforts to maintain the availability of the Service. However, no specific uptime guarantee is provided for standard subscription plans.
The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will endeavor to provide advance notice of planned maintenance where possible.
Enterprise customers may be eligible for a custom Service Level Agreement (SLA) with specific uptime commitments. Contact support@workmates-app.dk for details.
15. Modifications to Terms
FlareTech may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days in advance through in-app notifications or email.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Danish courts.
